Am I ready for sex?

I am sixteen and he is seventeen. So me and this guy have been dating for six months now and we talked for several months before that. We’ve met each other’s families and stuff like that. I’m a virgin and hes not and he wants to have sex. I’m totally willing to lose it to him but do you guys think I should wait? He will wear a condom. I’m also nervous about if it’s going to hurt or if I’ll mess it up?? Please help

Eh I don’t think so. I’m really not saying this rudely, but if you feel as though you have to ask others if you’re ready, you probably aren’t. And that’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with not being ready. You’re still really young. If he can’t respect that you aren’t ready yet, he isn’t the right one to lose it to so keep that in mind. Tell him not yet but someday.

If your comfortable then go for it. If not then don’t do it. You should be 100% sure you’re ready. Emotionally physically etc. having sex isn’t something to be taken lightly and if he’s the right guy I’m sure he won’t mind waiting for you to be ready. 
Also it can hurt. You may also bleed on your first time  Which is normal. It’s normal if you do or if you don’t. Just be prepared it can happen. It can also be a little awkward. So be sure to communicate to him how you’re feeling. What you need and want as well as what you don’t want. 
As much as you want that perfect fair tail story of losing your virginity it may not happen that way. It can be awkward and exciting and nothing goes to plan so just be aware of that. It can also take sometime to actually be able to get to the point where you are actually having sex. 
All of this is normal. Just make sure you’re ready for all these things. And when you are or if you are now. Then go for it!

It's probably going to hurt. Whether you want to or not depends on you, also whether you feel ready. I will say, however, that if you do not love him and he does not love you you'll have a better experience if you choose to wait. Your comfort level with him is a good reflection of what your experience will be like.
