Hi guys I just want to ask if taking the pill AND taking a plan B afterwards is a thing. I’m planning on starting the pill soon because I’ve been sexually active with my bf. we’ve been using condoms every time but we want extra protection cuz I DO NOT want to get pregnant yet. We’re planning on using condoms along with the pill but we both want to try sex without a condom when I’ve stabilized with the pills. I’ve read about people getting pregnant on the pill when the guy ejaculated inside them without a condom. I don’t want to risk that so I’m considering double protection aka taking plan B afterwards. They both deal with hormones? So idk if they would work together? Are there other options for me (that’s not too complicated bc I’m still in uni) ?

Update: I think a lot of you misunderstood. I didn’t mean to take plan B regularly. Just a one off situation. But thank you for the comments!
