Share a room or not? (They are 3)
My 3 year old twins are transitioning from their cribs soon. I’m not ready, and the cribs have lasted a long time...but I am planning their “big boy and big girl rooms” soon. My question is, would you recommend they share a room or not? Right now they do not share—my twins are boy/girl, and my boy is in my older son’s room (because my older son wanted him in there), and my little girl is in her own room.
I feel like having them share a simple neutral bedroom would be simple and nice to keep them sort of safe in one room.
Or, my daughter could have her own room while my boys (ages 3 and 7) transition to bunk beds. Bunk beds scare me though, and I think my 3 year old is a bit too young for that.
I’m at a loss. 🤔🤯
Any advice is much appreciated.
I should also add—we do have an extra room. However, we use it as an office/homeschool/guest room and plan on using it for a future (and last) baby nursery.
