How to make boyfriend more romantic?

He is very sweet, he does say he loves me and kisses me a lot daily but I just wish he would do more romantic gestures like buy me flowers or surprise me randomly? Like he didn’t even plan to buy a gift for our anniversary and he only did because I mentioned that I bought him something. 
Any ideas how to make this happen?

You can’t ‘hint’ with guys. Guys don’t get hints!!! You need to be like ‘Babe, I really like to be romanced. Can you please buy me flowers every now and then, plan a date every month, take me to Paris and plan a flash mob under the Eiffel Tower to show how much you love me etc. 
As much as we would love guys to be spontaneous and romantic, those guys are very very hard to find. We need to be upfront with our guys and let them know what we want. 
I highly recommend doing to 5 Love Languages quiz online to find out what yours is and then explaining it to your partner. Get him to do the quiz too so you can find out how best to show your love for him. 
I also recommend watching the YouTube series ‘What happy couples know’. It’s a 4-part series done by a Christian pastor. I’m not religious at all but I really enjoyed watching it. It had some great points.

From your post it seems like he is romantic in his way but you want him tu buy you stuff. Ect: flowers, surprises and anniversary gift. 
That’s 2 different things.
