Deployment

So my husband just called me to tell me his unit has been selected for deployment. We have been together 6.5 years now and he has not deployed once since we have been together. He’s finishing officer school in September and will be in for another 6 years. He’s in the Army national guard and has been in for 16 years already now.

He won’t be deploying until 2020 but I am so scared of this. I can’t tell anyone yet, because all the details are not set in stone yet. I think having to know this for 2 years is going to kill me. We are currently trying for baby #2. Am I cut out to be a single mother of 2 while he’s gone.
