After complications...

Carrie

I had not one, not two, but 6 positive pregnancy tests on June 26th. On July 8th I had worked my full shift with cramps that were eh. I got to my car and felt like something popped I instantly began vomiting because the pain was so intense. I drove myself the two miles up the road to the Emergency Department. I got in and was taken back to be evaluated before they even checked me in. I was given morphine, and a nausea medication via IV while they did an emergency ultrasound to be sure that the baby was in the right place. We saw a 5w3d gestational sac but no baby. I was also diagnosed with a medium subchorionic hemorrhage along with my left ovary being 3x the size it should be. They released me I went home on bed rest and the pain came back two days later so I went to the nearest Emergency Department on July 10th and was immediately transported an hour and a half away from home due to this hospital not delivering babies and the sub/hem. They did a repeat ultrasound and again just the gestational sac measuring at 6w1d and the left ovary still huge. I went to the OB/GYN and had my normal first appointment. I went today for a repeat ultrasound to try to locate baby and get a heartbeat and due date. I was almost in tears when I saw my little tadpole and the heart fluttering away. The sub/hem has completely resolved itself completely gone and everything measured right as we expected and to my surprise my left ovary was back to normal completely. After a long mess here is my sweet baby. Baby measured at 9w1d.
