gray furniture/walls

i was so set on having gray furniture in my boys nursery, just bc i love the way it looks. but i just realized that the walls are gray as well (we just moved into a new place a few weeks ago so ig i just haven’t really payed attention lol) so my question is; is gray furniture on top of gray walls too much gray? could i just do a darker gray, or would it be better to just go with white? (pics of the walls with and without flash just for reference lol)
