Anyone else afraid to have sex?

Still haven’t had sex and I’m 7-8 weeks pp. I’m kinda scared... idk for what, but I am. 
Sometimes I feel like I really want to give it a try, but others I’m like no way Jose!

I was scared too.  A penis is way smaller than a baby, but still.
Just tell your husband/partner to go slow...it’s your first time.  If it feels ok, you can tell him you lied.  If it doesn’t feel ok, it is ok to stop and try again later.
It may not feel very good at first.  Between changes from stitches and hormones if you are breastfeeding (some people experience dryness while breastfeeding), it may take some time.

Ugh same. At my appointment at 7 weeks, my doctor discovered my scar tissue hasn't healed well and had to burn it with silver nitrate, which was awful. She told me to wait two more weeks to heal, and I'm in the clear now but still scared!

same here at 9 weeks (almost 10). I had a C section so I've only been cleared for about 10 days but I know my hubby is probably upset I didn't run right home and jump him lol

I’m 9 weeks pp, and my husband and I have had sex twice since 6 weeks pp. I was a little worried the first time but we took it slow and it wasn’t bad at all...actually pretty good. The first few moments were at little uncomfortable. I’d compare it to the first time except I don’t remember it that well since that was quite a while ago. 😂 I also had Mirena placed at 8 weeks so we had to use condoms which we hadn’t used for 3 years so I think that contributed the the initial discomfort. But again it wasn’t bad at all...I’m sure it’s different for everyone. I had a couple minor tears including a labia tear.

I had the same second degree tear I had with our first this time, so we are giving it a little longer. Last time when we tried at 6 weeks it was still really painful. I don’t think we successfully had sex until about 3 months pp, and we’ll probably wait until the same this time.

With my first I was absolutely terrified! I made my PP appointment for 8.5 weeks so we had to wait longer 😂😂 and then because I was super scared and tense it hurt but seriously its not painful it’s fine lol!
