Vitex?

Hey ladies just wondering if any of you have used vitex and if it was helpful in getting a BFP ..... ive had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks ... so im anxious to try new things

I started taking it after my miscarriage last year and it really regulated my cycle and eliminated cramping. But I have not fallen pregnant yet

Is vitex supposed to have a progesterone type effect?

I used it and was pregnant within 3 months, you’re supposed to stop it once you’re pregnant. At least that’s what I’ve read and personally what I did.

I started taking it following a miscarriage at 10 weeks and two CPs in a row. Haven’t conceived yet, but it’s only been two cycles. I am, however, a little nervous about tapering off of it once I do conceive.

I have taken Vitex since after my first miscarriage, through my chemical pregnancy and through the first trimester of my 12 week loss. Take that as you will I suppose. There’s conflicting reports as to whether or not it should be taken through the first trimester. I know people that credit it for their successful pregnancies, I don’t know if I will keep taking it personally.
