So we start our period when we start taking the green pills. Or can we start it while we are still taking the other colors??

Are the green pills the last row? Every brand uses different colors, but that last row is for placebo pills which are inactive. You should get your period while taking this last row. Most people get theirs 2-3 days into taking these. If you just started taking birth control you may have a little bleeding while still taking active pills, but don't worry it's just your body getting used to this new hormone level and you should adjust within a month or two.
