I’ve always noticed since I was in middle school that I got along with younger people, but it just started out with people who were only a grade below me, but as I got older, the gap seemed to get larger. By my senior year, most of my friends were sophomores (they just graduated and I’m still friends with them), and my high school sweetheart was a freshman when we started to date (I was 17 and he was 15 so it wasn’t ‘illegal’. chill out.) and when he became a sophomore and I graduated, I met his freshman friends and we got along very well. And now, I am going to be 20 in August, and two of my best friends, who I met through community theatre this summer, are both 15 years old!

I didn’t make a lot of friends who graduated with me, and not a lot of older people besides of the ones that I just “look up to”. I feel like people would consider me a pedophile or that I’m immature/childish because I get along with younger people. Is this a bad thing? 😣
