I’ve got a sil who has a lot of problems. One being she has tried to kill herself at least once a month over the past year.

Most of my husbands family came to visit when the baby was born(almost a year ago) and when I would take the baby, it was like I had just told her to leave. She kept calling the baby “hers”. And told her mother that I had no right to take the baby after she had thrown a fit.

Fast forward to now and her, her mom, and her moms mom wanted to visit. Husband and I talked and agreed that unless she was doing better for 3 months(which we thought was fair) we didn’t want her visiting. So he told his mom this. She hung up on him and I feel like they’re going to come anyway.

I fear for my child. I have no doubt in my mind she would take the baby and leave or say he was going with them when they go back home(12+ hours away), or that if I told her no to something, she’d threaten to kill herself.

I just want to know if any of you ladies were in this situation, you’d do the same thing... Help!

-She’s over 18

-We’re Christians and she says she got right with God, but she says this just about every time she wants something to make people think she’s doing better

-I think most of her issues are she’s spoiled and when other people get attention is when things seem to get worse. If her parents say no to her, she tries something and then gets something she’s asked for that they said no or maybe later.
