What she should I take baby out of infant car seat And put into convertible car seat?

It’s best to just follow the weight or height limit of the infant car seat before you switch. My son outgrew both weight and height in his infant car seat around the same time so thats when we switched it out.

I switched my daughter when she was 9 months old

We switched our son at 5 months. He was uncomfortable and started hating car rides. As soon as he got in the bigger seat he was a happy camper

I switched my first when he became too heavy to carry comfortably and he could sit up (5-6 months). My next step carseat said for weights 5lb and up so I could have brought both my babies home in it but the clip in one is convenient for if baby falls asleep and going places like dinner or grocery store for them to sit in.

When they reach the weight or height limit. Them switch to a convertible but keep it rear facing until they reach the limits for rear facing on the convertible. I plan on trying to find a convertible that has the highest rear facing weight limit as possible but for now my 8 month old is happy in the infant seat.

Switch whenever it works for you. Babies grow at different rates. We kept my first in her infant carrier for like 18 months and she still rode in it some until like 21 months. She’s little, so it was fine. We switched her when she got too tall for it.

My daughter is 7 months and she’s still in her infant seat. We’ll be transitioning her soon, she’s almost at the height limit. But personally I would wait until they are able to sit up in a buggy or high chair, if you not you’ll be carrying them the whole time you go somewhere.
