what age did you start potty training your son?

my son is 19 months old and is not potty trained

I have noticed those that begin before 2 are “still working on it” or it took several months, and those that wait until closer to 3 catch on very quickly. They’re just ready emotionally/mentally closer to 3 (with exceptions for certain children obviously).

We started attempting to potty train him at around 2-2 1/2, but he wasn’t really interested in it. He wasn’t actually trained until a couple months before he turned 4. It’s very common for boys to take longer to potty train.

I started my son when he was 27 months and he's 28 months now. I've read that they don't catch on til age 3 for the most part.

My son will be 23 months in a week. He's showing signs of readiness but afraid of the potty still. I plan on starting in a week after a lot of reading on my part.

24 months and 18 months I started talking about party started explaining it to him bringing him in with me and it took them a week he’s never had a problem since he’s now almost 3

My boy is 2 1/2 and I am JUST introducing him to the potty. 
He’s had no interest before. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I didn’t see the point in asking him to do something he didn’t understand.

I potty trained my son when he turned 2. He is completely trained for daytime and nap time but not overnight just yet because he still sleeps in a crib and can’t get out to pee on his own. When I transition him to a bed I will train him to use the toilet in the
Middle of the night. I highly recommend reading “Oh Crap! Potty Training”. It helped us to be successful and get it done once and within a week and a half.

We just started at 16 months, he’s 19 months now. He was the one who showed he was ready, but he is definitely not totally potty trained.. lol
