Friends with benefits or more?

Me and my best friend were best friends for like 2 years and like 3 months ago we decided to be friends with benefits. The problem is that I don’t already know what’s happening. Can we be more than fwb in case that we don’t flirt with other people so far, we also have that cuddle part after sex and we really do feel intimate and safe with each other? Everybody keeps saying that we already have a relationship but maybe because of scare of commitment we don’t have the boyfriend and girlfriend labels. Tbh I would give ourselves the chance to have a relationship, I don’t know what he’s thinking and I’m scared to ask him what he feels, so I’m not in love with him but I would be glad if I’m his girl and he’s my boy. I DONT KNOW WHAT I FEEL HELP ME PLEASE I DIE.
