The medication you are probably thinking of is called Addyi. It is marketed as the female viagra but it works differently than “male” viagra. Male viagra works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help with performance while the female version helps with the desire for intercourse.

No such thing exists. I work in a pharmacy. 
If you’re talking about like supplements or gas station pills, they are unregulated and no one really knows what’s in them. It’s usually homeopathic though and there’s no clinical evidence that they are effective.
