When to have unprotected sex

I started the pill 2 weeks ago . How long do you think I should wait for the pill to work fine enough to have unprotected sex ?

If you don’t want a baby then I would say you should always have protected sex. Birth control pills can fail just like any other form of contraceptive. If you feel like you can have sex and be ok if a baby happens then by all means throw out the rubbers, but until then I would continue to protect yourself.

Wait at least a month and even then use a condom as backup

Typically, it only takes a full 7 days to be effective. So, u should be fine now. But, it’s always best to read ur pill leaflet to be sure in regards to ur specific pill brand. If u don’t have the leaflet, then google ur specific brand of pills & read the pdf version, or call & ask the pharmacist.
