My 20 month old son just started putting his fingers in his ears and he had never done that before and now he keeps doing it for every little thing, im just worried because a long time ago my high school teacher said his son has autism and an early sign was covering his ears (by putting his fingers in his ears rather than people normally do my putting palms over ears, am i just over thinking it, my child is super hyper, smart, does make eye contact, shares food and toys with us, im just always worried because of things i read and im a first time mom

Thoughts? Please no negative opinions, im sure im not the first mother that has had these concerns!
