How did you do it?

Got our positives. But we have had three miscarriages in the past year. How did you get over the fear of having another miscarriage. I had a feeling at first this would be our sticky baby. Now I’m starting to have those fears.

Honestly, I still worry at 20 weeks along. I did buy a home doppler and that has helped alot.

Honestly even now that I’m 28 weeks long I always feel the need to worry but I try to just relax.. when I first found out I was pregnant again I was excited but tried to keep my hopes to the bare minimum because I didn’t want to be let down again... at the beginning of my pregnancy I was always aware of everything and question every little pain or feeling that felt but asking women on this app about them gave me some sort of calmness and having a 24/7 nurse line open helped me too... I don’t think I’ll ever stop worrying but I know I shouldn’t worry... I pray for you and the journey you are about to begin. ❤️

I’ve never had a miscarriage but I stress a lot especially when things are out of my control. I’ve found the best way to do it is to break down the pregnancy and focus on the next stage so it doesn’t feel so far away. As I’m high risk I have additional doctors appointments so my I focus on the next big thing. Currently counting down to hitting 24 weeks when I know baby becomes viable and is classed as a baby at the hospital after that it’ll be the midwife appointment at 25 weeks etc etc. May not help anyone but finding it really useful atm. I haven't got over it, but you have to try and be positive and listen to your body, not your anxieties. You can have blood tests, and early scans to put your mind at rest x

Still not over the fear. I’ve lost 4 babies. I’m 17+1 now & just pray for the best. I find that staying busy & focusing on other things help. I’ve brevet made my past 8+1 until now. Saw baby at 8+5, 11+5, & 16+1 so I’m just staying positive & hoping for this baby to make it all the way to a healthy/safe birth.

I’ve had five miscarriages and had all the test done and came back normal for both my husband and I. I finally had my baby stick this time around and I am now 30 weeks pregnant! We honestly kept it hush hush at first and payed every other week to get an ultrasound. I also went on eBay and bought a baby Doppler to listen to her heartbeat. It will always be in the back of your mind but these are things that I did to take the edge off, sending positive vibes your way!
