What makes us so special that we’re the only mammals that have to wear clothes?

Whoever said ‘because we’re smarter’ lol wtf. We should never compare other animals intelligence to our own. There are animals out that that are far more intelligent than us anyways. 🦍

We don't have fur, feathers, scales or the right kind of fat content (ie: blubber) for the ever-changing climates of all the vast, complex continents in which the human species lives. Thus making us more vulnerable to many different elemental outcomes. So clothes are essential-- being smart has nothing to do with it and neither does any religious beliefs. 🤓

Living in different climates where many a times it's necessary. 
Also human beings unlike most other "animals", (as we know it anyways), have social and moral conscience and inhibitions which makes us aware to do these things.

Because we are one of few beings who are Self Aware ( gorillas, dolphins, elephants, some birds and few others are too).  Guilt, shame, protection and control in my opinion also each play a part to varying degrees.
