I do. It’s my favorite part of sushi, I just can’t give it up. I lived in a particularly Asian community where everyone ate raw fish while pregnant and I’ve never seen anyone get harmed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I could be totally won't, but thought I read somewhere that roe is better to avoid during pregnancy? go for the California roll without though! I crave sushi so bad during pregnancy

You can have California rolls. I wouldn’t have raw fish to just not risk your baby’s health. If you’re not sure, you should ask your MD. Enjoy! ☺️

last weekend I had raw ahi tuna with roe on top. I’m fine! I just make sure to eat sushi from a legit place

Imitation crab falls into the same category as deli meats, so has a risk of listeria unless it it’s heated thoroughly. The way roe is stored can also carry a risk of listeria. If you want to get sushi I would stick to a roll that has steamed or fried shrimp, salmon, scallops, or crab. But double check the fish itself is cooked, not just the roll fried. Avoid tuna, swordfish and other fish high in mercury.
