Is an ultrasound at 6 weeks too early?

Is it worth the possible risk? There was a study done in China that showed that there were risks associated with ultrasounds.

you risk not seeing what you expect to and spend weeks in panic until the next one too make sure everything is ok.
I personally would wait a few weeks to avoid that!!

There’s no risk to your Baby having one but you really won’t see much at all. I have always waited until 12 weeks as they are beginning to look like an actual Baby at that point

I had mine today 5 weeks 6 days and all we saw was gestational sac and yolk sac no fetal pole

There is no risk associated with an early ultrasound. If so doctors wouldn't preform these. There is no study that proves that an ultrasound is harmful.
