Hello all I'm a 36yr old fml with no kids yet. I got the Mirena iud put in yesterday afternoon because of the severity of my cramps and because of my age and the fact I've been on the pill for years. They're so bad that I'm actually anemic because of it and have to be seen by a blood specialist.

How was and is everyone doing right after getting it done ? I have severe cramps as it is. And now that I'm getting older, my cycle is every 22 days. So I just got over it a couple of days ago and now I'm 2weeks away. And that's when I usually have my severe cramps. Yes two weeks before, a week during and a week after. Feels like someone punching me in the stomach and twisting my insides.
