Would you bring your 1 year old to the hospital to visit a relative there for heart issues?

I would avoid bringing my child to the hospital unless it was absolutely unavoidable.

I’d be more worried about the person we were visiting than my kid... kids are little germ machines & I wouldn’t want to risk getting that person more sick.

I’m a nurse in the hospital and it’s full of crazy germs. I don’t even touch my daughter after work until I shower. I wouldn’t bring my 1 year old to the hospital unless I absolutely had no choice. 
Also, when I’m working, I honestly never see young babies/toddlers visiting. People just don’t bring them.

My daughter was younger than that when we went to hospital to visit her grandpa who had cancer in his stomach, with that you never know how long they have and she was his first grandchild and it really brightened his day and have irreplaceable pictures to cherish

Probably not a popular opinion but yes I would I have a 1 year old and I’ve had my grandma fall I’ll quite a few times this past year and he’s probably the only great grand baby she’ll be around to see and seeing him while she was in the hospital just brightened her day and she was so happy and loved showing him off to all the staff I’m glad I did because she could obviously use the cheering up and guess what each time my son was fine never got sick after visiting

I don’t see why not 🤷‍♀️ there are germs everywhere. What they catch there probably isn’t going to kill them. After my niece was born my nephew licked the freaking hospital floor though 🤦🏽‍♀️ spent the first night home with the new baby puking all night 🙄

Depends on your child. My daughter is pretty well behaved and if the family member was close to me I would like my daughter to see them. If I knew my daughter couldn't handle it, would be bad, scream, etc then I wouldn't

Yes. There is little harm that can come to them and that person’s day may be made by seeing them. As a young child I delivered flowers to patients with my mom all of the time. It was fine.
