hi all so im in a dilemma and have been thinking long and hard about this since my son was born 6 months ago. i currently live in utah and it is were all my family lives but the past 3-4 years my family has slowly just drifted apart and turns hostile more and more frequently.

Ive been looking into houses for sale here and in a couple other states. mainly Iowa or Georgia. and have found that these two states are tremendously cheaper in the house market and just overall are a place i wouldn't mind packing up and moving to one day.

but my dilemma is: would it be beneficial to move and start over? i work from home so my current job would be able to still continue and i wouldn't have an issue in job searching if i wanted to add in more income. i personally would just rather to start a new life and not have to worry about negative impacts on my son as he gets older.

is this something i should do? has anyone done this? tips? advice?
