We don’t hold the same values & it’s breaking my heart.

My bf & I went out to eat. He was on his phone & talking while on the dinner table. His phone kept ringing so I was like “can you put it on mute?” & he was like “Idk how” so I grabbed the phone to put it on mute & apparently he had changed the password. I just placed it down & did the same (using my phone) to put him in my shoes. But he didn’t budge, he just kept using it. I even made a friend call me. I don’t know what to tell him anymore. I also don’t want to break up over this but ughh, I just wish we could sit down, eat & have a conversation without interruptions.
