so my partner was telling me how you can’t control people cheating on you so it’s either you’re gonna have faith in the person or overthink it and be lonely forever. He said if someone cheats it’s life it happens and to me I feel as though if someone truly cares about you they’ll want to protect your feelings and let you know hey I wanna see other people but I don’t want to cheat on you to make it worse so I’m giving you a chance to walk away this is if they are falling out of love with you but if it’s someone you are in a relationship with or married to they should love you enough to see you as the only girl/guy in the world or at least have some self control to think if I do this I will ruin everything or is it worth it but I guess thats just my opinion. So I asked him if he was to ever cheat on me his reasoning would be that’s life and he said every response is it’s life just like when someone dies it’s life , when you lose someone it’s life . You can’t control your partners actions it’s just life. I agree on not being able to control your partners actions but he’s acting like cheating is a natural thing that just happens when it’s your time just like death is which I disagree with because cheating is all about self control & whether or not you actually have some care in the world about your partner . You don’t just fall inside of a vagina or fall onto some dick nor do you just land into someone’s DMS trying to flirt . It’s literally not that hard to not cheat and if you ever think about it .. it’s not that hard to let the person go but he got me kinda nervous because of his response saying that it’s just life if it happens so idk if I’d be able to fully trust him because his reasoning sucks. I’d rather be lonely forever then be with someone who thinks if he was to cheat or anyone its just how life is he said if it happens learn from it & move on 🤨. He then said why would I spend so much money on you if I was thinking abt cheating on you or have already cheated on you but money means nothing. Celebrities will buy their wife a whole entire mansion and STILL cheat.. money is no excuse. How would you take this hearing it from your partner?
