What brand of formula do you use? Why?

Trying to decide if spending more money is worth it or if generic is ok

we did generic enfamil gentle since little man had such a sensitive belly. started at 3 weeks and didn’t have any problems! he outgrew it when he turned 1 and is the chunkiest little boy

We have the WIC program around here that pays for formula. Don't know if that's helpful or not. But I don't have to pay for formula at all through WIC

I used regular enfamil for my daughter. We used the same for my son but had to switch because he had issues with severe constipation. I’m talking solid logs of clay like poop coming out of a newborn, not normal at all. We went with Earths Best which cleared his bowel issues right up and got him back to normal.

Similac Advanced. We tried Similac Sensitive, but I think it was about to start making him constipated. It definitely made him gassy and fussy. But since switching to Advanced, he seems to be back to normal, gaining weight, and doing fine on it, no fussiness. It satifies his hunger. I don't think he liked the taste of the Sensitive either.

My pediatrician said she is fine with using generic... but only after 6 months is her preference

Check out the ingredients and go from there. Some have corn syrup as the first ingredient 😷

Try generic. My daughter reacted poorly to it. So we had to go back to Similac. Definitely try generic though. The price difference is insane.

We used enfamil premium but he spit it up so we trie targets brand up&up; gentle and he’s been so much better
