My sisters a heroin addict and it’s been driving me crazy that people don’t care about addiction or think it’s a disease until someone famous gets hurt from it. My sister used to be kind, outgoing, smart. Now she works a dead end job cuz she’s not willing to take a drug test and doesn’t care about her future. Addiction makes your loved one a cunt and it won’t change unless they want it too.

Idk. It’s terrible and people with addiction have to fight hard to break it, but they chose the addiction at some point. It’s not like cancer. Smokers make the choice to smoke their first cigarette and they make the choice to keep doing it. It’s not impossible to break, but it’s very hard. It’s the same for all addictions. It makes me so mad that people’s addictions affect the people they love though😔 my dad smokes and has caused me physical and mental pain in the past bc of it
