Can you move your baby to stage 3 baby food before they are 10 months?

my baby is 8 months and we do a mix of baby led and pureed and he liked whole food more so wondered if I can move him up to the stage 3 baby food

I didn’t really follow the rules when to move up I just followed his lead. I did the same thing with a mix of purée and BLW. 
I did move up to 6-8-10-12 month food earlier then it said. Some he did fine with and some not so well. 
Just follow your baby’s lead and see how you go.

I would just stop with the purees and go all real food. My son has never had a puree and he’s 10m

My daughter (almost 11 months) has been eating off my plate and no more baby food since around 8 months. She got her first tooth and only tooth right before 10 months, but eats basically everything (chicken, pork, beef, pasta, potatoes, eggs, ect....literally everything, but peas 🤣)

I’ve never used staged food, cause I really don’t think it matters at all. My son has just been eating finger foods since 7 months.
