How to deal with shyness?🙈

How do you deal with shyness on your first date? I mean, when you see person for the first time in person, you met him on this online date app. I cant be open, because my shyness is taking ooooover. Im writing the worst scenarious in my head, always. Even when he is the nicest person. It always takes a time while it goes away 😞

some I'm pretty shy, and he's 100% shy introvert 
we met online and I was scared to meet him because I knew I was going to be awkward. 
so we went bowling and I asked if I could invite my friend and her boyfriend, he agreed and he brought along his friend. 
it worked out so well! we had enough time to chat, but then get up and I would take my turn, and he would take his turn so we could get some jitters out and kinda come up with new questions to ask. 
also worked out because my friend could get to know him because me and her are like a packaged deal 😂 and I could her opinion after. 
our next date was typical dinner and a movie, but it wasn't as awkward as it could have been.
