medication caused a yeast infection.

my boyfriend and i recently became sexually active (never having done it before). now i didn’t do a lot of research on sex (i’m an idiot, i know that now) i just thought it was basic stuff. turns out there a whole lot of shit that goes into it that makes it a safe interaction. basically what i’m saying is i got a UTI from it. holy shit it hurt. so i go to the doctor, they give me medicine to fix it. i’m about 4 days into taking the antibiotics, and guess what, the antibiotic gave me a yeast infection!! at this point i’m dead set on never having sex again because this is a shit show.
