how many days before your suspected period day can you test & get a positive. I'm ""due"" in 8 days but always have terribly irregular cycles due to my endometriosis. I started clomid this month & tracked my ovulation.

Some tests say they can tell you up to 5 days before your expected period. But those same tests showed negative for me until I was over a week late🤷🏻‍♀️

It depends on when you implant, both of My pregnancies I was able to get a positive 5 days before my missed period.

If you tracked your ovulation then I would go with how many days after that vs how many before a period which you said is irregular anyway. 
You’ll get the most accurate results if you can wait 2 weeks or 14dpo... easier said than done lol I always test a little too early 😹
