From y’alls personal experience does the effect of IUDs start to wear off or reverse when it gets close to the time to take it out? Did it remain affective the full term?

This December will be 3 years for my Skyla & so I’m supposed to go get it taken out then. Recently I’ve noticed I’m seeming to be getting more of my old period/hormonal symptoms back even though I still don’t have a period. A few uterus cramps here and there, boobs more swollen & painful once a month or so, worse mood swings.. it took me about 6 months to a year after I got the IUD for me to fully lose my period. I’ve wondered for a while if maybe the IUD had moved a bit due to rough sex but I haven’t had any issues with it in a long time. Just want to make sure what I’m experiencing is relatively normal.
