Are kids worth all the hard work?

Some days are just hard.

Everyone is different. For me, when my son hugs me and says, "I love you," all of the tantrums disappear. I have a 2 year old and a 6 week old. I love teaching them and seeing them become their own little person. It's freaking hard, but I feel blessed I get to do it.

i put sometimes because its very hard at times and my depression gets the best of me. don't get me wrong, i love my kids, but i do think of what it would be like if i didn't have my daughter at 18 or if i didn't get pregnant with my son or this new baby. being a mother is an amazing feeling that i wouldn't trade for anything else. having a good support system helps make it all worth it though!

They are if you truly want kids. There are some people who like kids, but don't necessarily want to raise them or just don't like kids. For some of them if they do have kids, they're worth it, but for some of them they aren't. As someone who has wanted to be a mom since I was 5, yes. Yes they are worth all the snot and drool and hair pulling and embarrassment of being peed on in public and having to deal with other people's stupid opinions and angst. Oh god the angst. It's not even teenage angst. That's not a problem. It's the 12 year old angst (at least in girls. I think in boys it hits later since puberty starts later) No one warns you about that.
