I’m gonna be a freshmen in college this fall and I’m currently sexually active. What’s a good/ recommend form of birth control for college students?

I’ve tried the pill before but I stopped after a while because I kept forgetting to take them. I’ve been on the shot for the past 6 months but I my period has been going on for the past 3 months and it won’t stop. So I’m no longer on the shot. I’m considering getting back on the pill for college.
