Intruder Pt. 5/11

He’s still sitting on the bed. I’m too scared to be hungry but I sit next to him and eat anyways. Every swallow is a challenge but I manage. When I finished he asked “Would you like some water?” And I shook my head yes, trying to not make much eye contact. He brings me back a glass of lukewarm water and I take a few sips, glance at him staring at me, and put the glass down on the night stand next to the bed. “What’s your name?” he asks. I consider lying but I tell him the truth, “Alex.” “Lovely name.” He says as he draws me closer. I lean my head into his chest to try to make him think I trust him. “Let me get these handcuffs back on you and we can go upstairs and watch a movie.” “Perfect.” I think. I hand him the handcuffs and put my arms out to him. The ghost of a smirk crosses his face while he puts them on me. “What movie do you have in mind?” I ask. “I was thinking the new Beauty And The Beast.” He says. I reply with a quick smile as he gets up to lead me up the stairs.
