No, it won't work or be accurate. Tests are invalid after 10 minutes.

Kind of. Dip an unused pregnancy test in water and check out what the 'pregnancy' line looks like. That's what an evap looks like and how it changes when the test dries. Take pictures if you want to be able to compare to real tests later on :)
