Dry skin during pregnancy?

Weird, but my hands and arms are sooo dry. No matter what body wash, body/hand lotion I use, it’s so dry it actually hurts! Especially between my fingers. I moisturize often. This started happening during this pregnancy. My skin was never this dry before. Remedies? 😣

It doesn't feel great but for your hands if you put on an excessive amount of lotion and then throw on some gloves (the cheap breathable fabric ones for like snow and cold weather) and leave them on overnight it helps alot. Because of my job I wash my hands a ridiculous amount and they get crazy dry. Like in between my fingers will peel and itch dry. My doctor suggested this and it worked wonders. I just hate the way it feels.

This has happened to me too and I’ve never had skin problems before. My skin was starting to split from the dryness so I went to the doctor and he wrote me up for some steroid cream I put on my hands and it’s worked really well. Still moisturise as much as possible and use gloves when doing dishes/cleaning. And gentle soaps of course 😊

Before I even took my test I had eczema pop up on ONE hand. It’s only gotten worse. I put lotion on every day and it just won’t go away. 👍🏼😒👍🏼 just dry skin everywhere else
