What to put baby in under swaddlers?

So I have a few of the Velcro swaddlers that I want to use for my babies that are due soon. So we will have the air on in our bedroom and it’s summer and hot. Do I just put them in a long or short sleeve onesie under the swaddler? Socks/pants? Idk!!!

Our house is set to 70 and she sleeps in either footy pjs or a t shirt onesie with the Velcro swaddle.

We have a May baby and live in San Diego. When she was a newborn, she just slept in a short sleeved onesie and swaddle. Now as a toddler, she sleeps in a t-shirt, diaper and sleep sack.

We only put my son in his diaper. It's too hot for pjs or onsie and a swaddler. They told us in our parenting class to use ourselves as a measure. You and your baby should have on the same amount of layers. A swaddler counts as a layer. I wear one so that is all he wears.

You can google how to dress baby for bedtime according to the temperature in your home.  There are charts that show.  We keep our house between 68-70, so my baby wore a sleep sack, footie pjs, short sleep onesie, and socks for bed until he turned 1.
