foundation too dark for me

ugh im so sad. i have a light medium skin tone and its hard for me to find a drugstore foundation because the undertone is usually too pink for me and you guys recommended the milani foundation since it works for yellow undertones and i swear i thought i found my shade but it was too dark for me 😭

well i used the shade 02 because i felt like it was the yellow enough and i actually thought it was gonna be too light for me but it looked orange so it def wasnt. i didnt buy it but i swatched a little on my hand and on my neck but it was too dark on my hand so i already knew it wasnt the right shade because my hand is darker than my face lol

i think theres about 2 or 3 shades before the one i tried and i will try them but idk if it'll be yellow enough for me.

just in case it isnt, anybody else know any other drugstore foundations i could try if i have a yellow undertone? ive already tried wet n wild and the fit me maybelline foundations but theyre too pink.

btw ive never found a perfect foundation match but i would say that this milani foundation is he closest match. (i have tried the wet n wild in golden beige but it was too dark but its darker than the milani one)
