First gyno appointment

So I’m 17 and My mom and me decided that I should get on birth control for my acne because it has helped my friend a lot. I’ve been wanting to be put on birth control for a long time now because I am sexually active but I don’t want my mom to know. Will my mom have to be in the appointment with me? Or will I be able to go in alone??
