Is anyone holding off on any early ultrasounds and just waiting for the anatomy scan near 20 weeks?

We are doing a home birth and using a midwife. They don’t really do many ultrasounds. I’ll probably only get the 20 week scan.

that's what I did for my daughter who is now 2. we just did the 20 week ultrasound. not sure what I will do this time.

I want to see them at 7+4, just to check that everything is alright...but then yea, 12 week, 20 week and that might be it.

With my insurance, I get 2 unless they suspect something is wrong.

My ob said they do an initial scan and then a 20 week. My initial is Thursday and I should be 9+1. We shall see if that’s really it though. I started going there when I was 20 weeks with my daughter and it seems like they sent me for so many unexpected scans! She measured a week small at 20 weeks so follow up scan, my belly measured ahead at one point so they sent me for another scan, I was past due, sent for a scan so I’m not sure I believe they’re only gonna do 2 this time. Lol
