I noticed that clumps of blood and uterine tissue stick to the strings on the iud. This turns dark brown. Is there any way to clean the strings inside of you? I am worried of getting an infection as things continue to stick to the strings over time...rub your fingers down the strings, trying to scrape off what’s on it and all sorts of gross stuff comes off. Anyone else worried about this?
