How old is to old? 🤔

I’m 22 and the guy I’m talking to is 40 ... I’m having mixed feelings about this .. age shouldn’t matter right ?

Age doesn't matter, but if you're thinking long term, you need to consider the reality of the age difference: Do you want children/does he want to be 65+ when they graduate high school? What about when you're 65 and ready to retire and travel and all that jazz and he's close to 90? I'm not judging; my fiancé is 10 years older than me and in his 40s as well.

Personally I wouldn’t get with someone 18 years older than me (thats like an entire other generation) but you are both consenting adults so you do you hun

Nah. Too old different , stages in life. I would do it for short term but def not long term.

Age difference doesn’t matter, but I think it’s to an extent... like my SO and I are 6 years apart, but I think your age gap is way too big... You have to think about what you want in life. Do you want kids? Does he have kids already? If so, would he want more? Would he want to be a new Dad in his 40’s? Would he want to possibly be over 60, or close to 70 (depending on how many kids you’d have) when they all graduated? I think you two would end up doing a lot of things separately. He is old enough that he could be your father. I think that’s when the age gap is too big.
