I got my baby’s room, just like I’ve always wanted

I met my amazing husband 3 years ago, and from that first day, I knew he would be the one I would be spending my life with. Looking back, I did not see myself already married to an amazing man, with a loving step son who I take as my own, and now expecting our first together, due oct 15, all in these short 3 years together ❤️ because of how expensive things are, we can’t afford a big house, and was only enough room for just him and our son.

We thought at first, we would have to have or son share the baby’s room, but I was upset because i have always dreamt of creating and decorating my own baby’s room. But At the time there wasn’t much we could do. About a month ago, my husband and I had finished a room downstairs with the little room we had that kept our computers in, and made that room our sons room (good bye computers). Only the start of giving up what’s yours for the ones you love xo! Now he’s got an amazing room for himself and guess what, now there’s a spare room upstairs for the newborn baby ❤️❤️❤️

I cannot express how happy this made me feel, and the love and support my husband has given me. We finally finished our baby’s room. He knows how important this was to me and was happy he was able to have me make a room. I love this man with everything and more, and I’m excited to share this journey with him.

Anyways, sorry for the massive story, but here is what the room currently

Looks like, still little odds and ends to finish getting like the cover for the change table and some more clothes, (yes the bears in the crib won’t stay, just something to fill it until our little one arrives :)
