HSG Procedure

I had a miscarriage back in June (12wks) and it took forever for my HCG levels to go down. Afterwards, my doc recommended a HSG procedure to check out my uterus and Fallopian tubes since I have a fibroid. I believe it’s subserosal (outside my uterus) but he wants to be sure.

Has anyone had this procedure done? They say it slightly increases your chances to get pregnant again right after but I am super anxious. Anyone know of this to be true?
