I am afraid I have come down with bacterial vaginosis (warning ladies: DONT try the legs up trick, go pee after sex! Let me be your proof!!) and have fell down a google hole of blogs and medical journals. Most of the legitimate medical journals have said something along the lines of “There is no proof that BV harms chances of conception unless gone untreated when it turns into PID.” I am getting pregnancy safe antibiotics tonight, so no worries there.

BUT!

On all of the blogs, I saw women mention how they never got pregnant with BV, that it harmed their infertility for years. I’m scared, because my husband leaves for a 3 month long deployment in 3 weeks and we were really hoping for this to be our shot.

Anyone have any comments or personal experience stories?
