I had an emergency C-section for my first and I have a planned C-section for my second in two weeks. Today I asked the doctor some logistical questions and he mentioned he would get started on the operation and THEN bring my husband into the OR. He said that what he does in the very beginning smells a lot and some husbands tend to pass out. Dr. said hubs CAN join for the beginning but wants him to be warned. Has anyone heard of this?? I really want my husband there before they start cutting, he doesn’t have a weak stomach.
