When Did You Begin to Dilate?

FTM and had first cervix check last week... “not dilating quite yet”. Was just wondering when other folks started dilating?

I think at 36 weeks they checked and I was 1 cm. Stayed that way until they induced me (39+3). Hit 2 cm and they broke my water, 4 hours later I was 5 cm, got the epidural and an hour and a half later I was 10 cm and ready to push. It was really slow going until they broke my water. That was with walking a ton and contracting on my own.

37 weeks. No change at 38+4. Baby seems content in there for now....

I’m 30 weeks right now and definitely dilated at least to 1. I don’t think it’s normal, but that’s where I’m at 🤷🏼‍♀️

My first cervix check was 35 weeks and I was a 1 and 50%.. I also had my girl at 38 weeks

I think it depends with my first and second I dilated at 39 weeks. with my 3rd I dilated at 37 weeks I was 3 cm. I get checked at my dr next Wednesday I'll be 37 weeks so I'll see.
